Megan Doan, PA-C

Megan Doan, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant who brings an empathetic, patient-centered approach to primary care. Originally from Houston, Megan has made Dallas her home and takes pride in serving the community where she lives. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Southwestern Medical Center after completing her undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Dallas.

Before pursuing her PA certification, Megan gained hands-on experience as a medical assistant in both pediatric and family medicine clinics, working in Dallas and in Bellaire, Houston. Caring for patients from diverse backgrounds, she regularly helped Vietnamese-speaking families navigate the healthcare system, experiences that shaped her commitment to compassionate, individualized care and deepened her passion for accessible medicine.

Throughout her clinical training, Megan rotated through a variety of healthcare settings, treating patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. This broad exposure helped her develop a thoughtful approach that meets patients where they are, with particular interests in cardiovascular health, women's health, mental health, and chronic disease management. She emphasizes evidence-based care and preventative medicine, focusing on long-term wellness rather than just immediate concerns.

Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, Megan takes pride in breaking down language and cultural barriers that often complicate medical care. She prioritizes listening carefully and communicating clearly, ensuring that each patient understands their health status and feels empowered to participate actively in their treatment decisions.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys rock climbing, yoga, and spending time with her two cats and one dog. By embracing the active, balanced lifestyle she recommends to patients, she brings authenticity and relatable energy to her wellness counseling, understanding firsthand the challenges and rewards of maintaining health in a busy world.
